Jana Nayagan box office collection day 1 (updated live): Vijay gets farewell with housefull shows, film mints ₹13 crore

Jana Nayagan, Vijay's final film, earned ₹14.40 crore net in India by 2 PM on day one.

The Tamil version had over 73% occupancy for morning shows in urban centres, while Hindi and Telugu dubs saw low occupancy.

The film is expected to cross ₹50 crore net on day one, competing with Vijay's previous openers like Beast (₹49.30 crore) and GOAT (₹44 crore).

Directed by H Vinoth, the film features Pooja Hegde and was released after a seven-month delay due to CBFC certification issues.
