Mission Shakti: UP DGP issues fresh SOPs to strengthen centres at every police station

UP DGP Rajeev Krishna issued fresh SOPs for Mission Shakti Centres at all police stations.

Mission Shakti Centres must provide immediate, sensitive assistance to women victims from arrival to complaint disposal.

All centres will have functional computers, internet, and power backup; faulty equipment must be replaced.

Lack of dedicated vehicles must be addressed via Dial-112 or other police vehicles for victim transport.

Trained women police personnel must be deployed exclusively, and a multi-layered monitoring mechanism established.
