Woman disrupts husband's second wedding in Kanpur

A 27-year-old woman in Kanpur disrupted her husband's second wedding on July 28, 2026, claiming their divorce was not finalised.

The woman married an interior designer in 2022 but left after a dispute; their divorce case is pending in court.

She arrived at the venue after a neighbour informed her, accompanied by her sister, and confronted her husband's family.

Police from Chakeri took the groom into custody and escorted both families to the station for investigation.
