Karnataka high court refused to quash proceedings against a 20-year-old accused in a murder case.

The accused was charged with setting his brother-in-law Naveen on fire in Sidihosakote, Anekal taluk.

The court cited corroborating evidence including Naveen's dying declaration, an eyewitness account, and scientific evidence.

The eyewitness stated accused No.1 Sampangi poured petrol and accused No.2 struck a matchstick.

Post-mortem confirmed death by burns and forensic report confirmed petrol on the bottle.
