Nick Jonas on his 3D concert film losing to ex Miley Cyrus

Nick Jonas admitted on the 'Hey Jonas' podcast that 'Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience' underperformed at the box office with $25 million.

The film was compared to ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus's 'Hannah Montana: The Movie', which grossed over $150 million in 2009.

Former guitarist John Lloyd Taylor described the comparison as a 'thief of joy' and a 'defining moment' in his friendship with Nick.

Jonas explained the competitive mindset at the time, saying if another film was bigger, they weren't the best, which he called 'a disaster'.
