Toyota teases next-gen Hilux details

Toyota India released a teaser of the next-generation Hilux pickup truck, showing a black grille, slimmer LED headlamps, revised bumper, and skid plate at the front.

The interior features a new dashboard with dual 12.3-inch displays, redesigned steering wheel, and updated centre console with physical controls.

Expected features include a 360-degree camera, six airbags, dual-zone climate control, ADAS, powered and ventilated front seats.

Powertrain is expected to be a 2.8-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine (204 hp, 500 Nm) with 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox, 4x4 system with low-range transfer case.

The engine may be paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system from the Fortuner Neo Drive, including belt-integrated starter generator and lithium-ion battery for better efficiency, regenerative braking, and auto start-stop.
