Xi Jinping expels another Politburo member

Xi Jinping expelled Politburo member Ma Xingrui for 'extremely serious' corruption.

Ma Xingrui was Communist Party boss of Xinjiang until last year.

He was stripped of party membership and his case handed to prosecutors.

The Politburo now has 21 active members, down from the usual 24.
