At a moth lure screen event at the Sukhna Lake Nature Trail, 6-year-old Variaam Singh tracked fireflies and observed moths.

Variaam showed no fear of moths, which landed on his body; he recounted an imaginary conversation with them, expressing his love.

Variaam stays with moths until 10:30 pm at the event and only left after a phone call from his mother.

At home in Sector 45, Chandigarh, Variaam catches house flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, snails and frees them outside instead of killing them.
