Colleges to set up Kumbh Cells for student volunteers

Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority (NTKMA) has directed educational institutions in Nashik to establish dedicated 'Kumbh Cells' for Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.

Online registrations have opened for the 'Kumbhdoot' student volunteer programme via a QR code.

Kumbh Cells will coordinate volunteer mobilization, Swachh Kumbh and Harit Kumbh campaigns, and deployment at ghats, temples, and other locations.

Students can register as 'Kumbhdoots' by scanning the QR code and will be connected to their institution's Kumbh Cell for training.

Educational institutions must nominate a nodal officer to liaise with NTKMA for coordination.
