SAT denies immediate relief to Suzlon Energy against SEBI penalty order, matter adjourned for August 7

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) denied immediate relief to Suzlon Energy against a SEBI penalty order.

The matter has been adjourned to August 7 for further hearing.

SEBI's Whole Time Member order stated that procedural approvals and disclosures alone could not shield transactions from regulatory scrutiny if they potentially created a misleading financial picture for investors.
