Man climbs 100 ft mobile tower in Ranchi, urges CM to come solve his problem; rescued

A man climbed a 100-foot mobile tower at Jaipal Singh Munda stadium in Ranchi, demanding Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren address his problem.

Police rescued the man after several hours of counseling; he climbed around 12:30 am and was rescued around 7:30 am.

The man, identified as Heeralal, 25, from Sikni village in Latehar district, was detained; he was upset after his wife went to her parents' house.

In a viral video, he said the CM should come solve his problem, adding he and his family had voted for him.

Eyewitnesses said he climbed to protest irregularities in recruitment exams that prevented his wife from getting a job.
