Bachelor star Joe Amabile shares diagnosis, plans surgery

Former Bachelor star Joe Amabile shared on Instagram that he was diagnosed with an early-stage brain tumor.

Doctors discovered a 'blueberry-sized' lesion on his brain after an MRI scan, which 'looks to be a glioma'.

Amabile will undergo a craniotomy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to remove and test the tumor.

The 40-year-old reality star said the condition was detected at a 'really early' stage and he is staying positive with support from family and friends.

He decided to share the news publicly because 'this is now part of my life now, so might as well'.
