Indian men's hockey coach Craig Fulton aims to break India's 51-year medal drought at the World Cup.

India's last World Cup gold was in 1975 in Kuala Lumpur under Ajit Pal Singh's captaincy.

India are placed in Pool D with Wales, England, and Pakistan for the World Cup in the Netherlands and Belgium from August 15 to 30.

Fulton guided India to a second consecutive bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.

The Asian Games is a priority as it serves as a qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
