Decks cleared to implement passive euthanasia in pvt, govt hospitals in state

Hindustan Times reports that passive euthanasia implementation is cleared in private and government hospitals in a state.

The Supreme Court legalised passive euthanasia in November 2022, allowing removal of life-prolonging supports from terminally ill patients.

Implementation had been stalled due to lack of standard protocols and procedural clarity.
