Pune: 17-Year-Old Boy Murdered Over Suspected Love Affair In Phursungi; Two Held

A 17-year-old boy was murdered in Pune's Phursungi area on Saturday, allegedly by two friends over a suspected love affair.

The arrested accused is Rohit Sandeep Khade, 20; a juvenile has also been detained.

The victim was allegedly in a relationship with Khade's sister, and the accused suspected the teenager had eloped with her.

The victim was attacked with a stone and a sharp weapon, causing fatal head injuries near Sanket Vihar.

Both accused surrendered at Wanowrie police station; a case was registered under BNS sections 103(1) and 3(5), the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act.
