'Unmadham' records 11.4% growth
Kunchacko Boban's Malayalam thriller 'Unmadham' collected Rs 78 lakhs on Day 2 (Saturday), an 11.4% increase from Friday's Rs 70 lakhs.
The film's total India net collection reached Rs 1.48 crore after two days, with a gross of Rs 1.72 crore.
The film was screened across 636 shows on Saturday with 37.27% overall Malayalam occupancy, peaking at 48.75% for night shows.
'Unmadham' follows police officer Shelly, who investigates a suicide case while struggling to become a screenwriter, and marks a collaboration with writer Shahi Kabir.
The film reunited Kunchacko Boban and Shahi Kabir after 'Nayattu' and 'Officer on Duty', and got a positive review from ETimes for Kunchacko's performance.
