Nashik: Pothole-Free Nashik Demand Grows; Citizens To Gherao NMC On August 7

Aamhi Nashikkar will protest potholes by gheraoing Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) on August 7.

A protest march to NMC's Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan starts at 9:00 a.m., followed by an indefinite relay hunger strike at 3:00 p.m.

Protesters demand alternative routes before road digging, timely completion of infrastructure projects, financial aid to accident victims' families, and strict action against officials and contractors.

The organization alleges poor-quality public works and dangerous road conditions caused by ongoing development.

Leaders from NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), Chhava Krantiveer Sena, and Prahar Janshakti Party attended the meeting announcing the protest.
