Kozhikode: Massive Fire Breaks Out at Beypore Coconut Oil Mill, Losses Run Into Several Lakhs

Massive fire broke out at Renuka Oil Mill in Beypore, Kozhikode, destroying coconut oil, copra and stored materials.

Losses from the fire are estimated at several lakhs.

Around 15 fire tenders battled the blaze for hours to control it.

Firefighters continued efforts to control remaining hotspots after the main blaze.
