Google has a new way to prove it's really you - just record a video selfie

Google announced 'selfie video' as a new fourth sign-in method for Google accounts, in addition to email/phone, passkey, and QR code.

A selfie video is a short clip recorded using the front camera of a smartphone, tablet, or laptop during sign-in.

Google says all selfie videos are saved securely and can be deleted at any time.

The feature ensures account access even if users forget their password or leave their phone behind.
