Bank holidays this week: SBI, HDFC, ICICI, PNB to remain closed for

SBI, HDFC, ICICI, PNB and other banks in India are closed up to three days this week (Aug 3–9) per the RBI holiday calendar.

Banks are closed on Sunday Aug 2 and Aug 9, as well as second Saturday Aug 8 nationwide.

On Aug 4, banks in Tripura (Agartala) are closed for Ker Puja; on Aug 8, banks in Sikkim (Gangtok) are closed for Tendong Roh Rum Faith festival for the Lepcha tribe.

Digital banking services like UPI, internet banking, mobile banking, NEFT, and ATMs remain operational during bank holidays.

In-branch services resume on the next working day; customers must wait until Monday for physical banking.
