Maharashtra Crime: CBI Registers 2 Bribery Cases Against Defence Accounts Officers, Auditor In Nashik

CBI registered two bribery cases against assistant accounts officers J. K. Meena and Kushal Sahu, and auditor A. Verma at Army Aviation Centre, Nashik.

The officials allegedly accepted bribes from Army personnel to ensure timely disbursement of genuine payments.

Bribes were taken through bank accounts of the accused, their relatives, family members, and friends.

Joint surprise check in November 2024 revealed incriminating chats and transactions on their mobile phones.

Cases include charges of criminal conspiracy, bribery, and abetment under relevant laws.
