Swift Action By Thane Traffic Police Averts Major Traffic Snarl After 120-Wheeler ODC Breakdown On Kopri

A 120-wheeler Over Dimensional Cargo vehicle broke down on Kopri Bridge on the Mumbai-Nashik Expressway at 7:00 AM due to gearbox failure.

Kopri Traffic Division, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Shirsat, intervened to divert vehicles and prevent a major snarl.

Two hydra cranes and two heavy-duty cranes were deployed to move the broken-down ODC vehicle to the side of the road.

Senior Police Inspector Dilip Patil confirmed the coordinated response prevented severe congestion and provided relief to morning commuters.
