'You will lose Diego Garcia': Iranian lawmaker warns UK over US base access

Iranian MP Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, warned the UK that it will lose Diego Garcia after Britain allowed the US to use its bases for strikes on Iran.

Azizi posted on X that the Sykes-Picot era is over and urged the UK to reflect on its own borders.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused Britain of violating the UN Charter by granting US access to bases for strikes against Iran.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps described US-used bases as legitimate targets and issued a warning to the British monarchy.
