US company sued over alleged pie-throwing ritual

A US company is being sued after a manager allegedly required the highest-performing retail sales consultant to tie the lowest-performing employee to a chair in the store's back office.

The manager allegedly smashed cream pies into the faces of low-performing employees.

The incidents were allegedly filmed, with the manager recording some herself and directing other employees to participate and capture videos.
