Greater Noida man killed by colleague over ‘friendship with woman’

Suresh, 40, a garment company worker living in Sirsa village, Greater Noida, was allegedly killed by his 33-year-old colleague over a dispute about a female friend.

The accused lured Suresh to a meeting near the Sirsa roundabout, attacked him multiple times with a cloth cutter, and caused fatal cuts to his neck and abdomen.

Both men sustained injuries; Suresh died at the hospital, while the accused was arrested and booked under Section 103 (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Police said the accused had been in contact with a female colleague for seven years, but she began talking to Suresh after a dispute with the accused about 1.5 months ago.
