Mumbais Water Stock Remains Steady Above 88%; Lake Levels See Marginal Rise In 24 Hours

Mumbai's combined water stock in seven lakes reached 88.55% on July 30, up from 88.17% the previous day.
The lakes held 12,81,608 million litres of usable water, an increase of 6,529 million litres in 24 hours.
Modak Sagar and Vihar and Tulsi lakes are full; Tansa at 98.57%, Bhatsa at 86.64%, Upper Vaitarna at 79.70%, Middle Vaitarna at 88.32%.
The Bhandup Complex received 3 mm rainfall in 24 hours, cumulative monsoon rainfall now 2,272 mm.
The India Meteorological Department issued a Yellow Alert for Mumbai and Thane, Orange Alert for Palghar and Raigad for heavy rain.
