Lucknow police bust cyber mule network; three arrested

Lucknow Police arrested three people under Operation CYVAJRA for operating a cyber mule network.

Stolen money from online frauds was withdrawn, converted into USDT (Tether cryptocurrency), and routed to Chinese operators via Telegram.

The accused lured youths with job promises to open bank accounts, then took control of ATM cards, passbooks, SIM cards, and internet banking credentials.

Two alleged handlers, Amit and Dinesh Singh, who passed account details to Chinese operators via Telegram, are absconding.

Police recovered 23 ATM cards, 13 passbooks, nine cheque books, and five mobile phones, and froze about ₹5 lakh in linked accounts.
