Amid demolition row, Akhilesh urges people to unite to save Jauhar University

Akhilesh Yadav called on people to unite to save Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur amid a demolition row.

Yadav accused the BJP government of targeting the university out of political vendetta.

He described the university as a 'temple of education' and warned against destroying the future of thousands of students.

The Rampur Development Authority ordered demolition of 38 out of 40 buildings allegedly built without approved plans.

Yadav urged rectifying any paperwork deficiencies instead of punishing the institution and its students.
