French labour authority DRIEETS Ile-de-France fined Infosys €175,000 (approx. Rs 2 crore) for its employee time-recording system not complying with local labour laws.
The regulator cited shortcomings in reliability, auditability, and monitoring capabilities of the time-tracking system for certain employee categories.
Infosys stated the penalty will have no material impact on its financials, operations, or other business activities.
