Shubhangi Atre recalls working for 6 days nonstop on Ektaa Kapoor's show Kasturi: 'Vanity van mein soti thi'

Actor Shubhangi Atre recalled working non-stop for six days while playing the lead role in Ektaa Kapoor's show Kasturi.

Atre said that during her time with Balaji Telefilms, she often went without a pack-up for three days at a stretch.

She was initially reluctant to take on Kasturi, citing her demanding schedule on Kasautii Zindagii Kay, but an assistant director told her 'you can't say no to Ektaa ma'am'.

After being selected for Kasturi on the 21st, her pack-up only happened on the 27th, during which she slept in her vanity van and applied make-up over make-up between sets.

Kasturi (2007) starred Karan Patel and Shubhangi Atre, and followed the story of a young woman whose life changes after meeting a wealthy man named Robbie.
