'Serious charges': Court rejects retired judge Giribala Singh's bail plea in Twisha Sharma case

Special court in Bhopal rejected retired judge Giribala Singh's bail plea in the dowry death case of former model Twisha Sharma.

The court cited the serious nature of the charges against Singh, who is Twisha Sharma's mother-in-law.

Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh were arrested on charges of dowry-related harassment, mental abuse, and domestic violence.

The CBI opposed bail, alleging Singh refused to provide her voice sample and attempted to influence the investigation.

Giribala Singh remains in custody as the CBI-led probe continues.
