After DU and JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia's appeal to students amid CJP protest

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) issued an indirect appeal urging students to focus on studies and refrain from unlawful activities amid the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protest over alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and education reforms.

Delhi University (DU) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) directly warned students and faculty of legal consequences for participating in the ongoing Jantar Mantar protest.

JMI emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assurance that student interests will be protected and strict action taken against those who played with students' future.

JNU advised its community to avoid gatherings at Jantar Mantar, citing Supreme Court directions on public demonstrations, and warned that irresponsible social media activity could invite legal and disciplinary action.

Aditi Mahavidyalaya urged students to stay away from violence and express views through peaceful means, while Shyam Lal College expressed support for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
