Residents seek CCTV cameras at BDA layout’s entry points for better safety

BDA Kaniminike Housing Project in Kumbalagodu, Kengeri, has 1,500 homes on 50 acres.

Residents requested CCTV cameras at entry and exit points due to public movement on connecting roads to Bengaluru-Mysuru access-controlled highway.

The request was made twice since Feb 2026; the latest push occurred on July 22.

Residents want live feed connected to Kumbalagodu police station and inclusion under MCCTNS.

A fake currency printing racket was recently busted in the area, prompting the safety appeal.
