The gift is a symbol of Indian heritage, meant to harmonize energy and herald a new beginning, as per the note.

Ramayana is starring Ranbir Kapoor and produced by Namit Malhotra in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The trailer launch in India was postponed due to student protests, with a global launch scheduled later.
