4 more held in JSSC-PGT scam of ‘guaranteed jobs’ in lieu of ₹10L

Four more persons were arrested in the JSSC-PGT scam, including two from Giridih and two from Ranchi.

The arrests followed the July 10 capture of IRB jawan Sushil Kumar in Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

Suspects promised guaranteed JSSC-PGT jobs for ₹10 lakh, but had no ability to tamper with exam marks.

Police seized blank cheques and original education certificates from Sushil Kumar during his arrest.

Seraikela-Kharsawan SP Manoj Swargiyari confirmed five arrests so far and ongoing investigation.
