Aam Aadmi Clinic stir called off after day-long disruption in Ludhiana

Around 300 contractual employees from Ludhiana's 100 Aam Aadmi Clinics staged a protest outside the civil surgeon's office, disrupting services for a day.

The strike was called off after talks with Punjab government and National Health Mission officials, who sought 15 days to consider demands.

Employees under the Aam Aadmi Clinic Sanjha Front demanded salary revision, medical leave, casual leave, health insurance, and job security.

The government had previously given assurances on July 15 but failed to issue a formal notification on revised remuneration.
