J&K police execute court order against wanted terror handler in UAPA cases

J&K police executed a proclamation under Section 84 of the BNSS against Mohammad Qasim alias Salman, a wanted terror handler in multiple UAPA cases.

The accused is involved in the 2022–23 Katra and Narwal blast cases and is believed to have crossed over to Pakistan.

The court order requires Mohammad Qasim to appear before the designated court by August 21, or face proceedings under Section 85 of the BNSS.

The proclamation was executed by SDPO Mahore Parul Bhardwaj at the accused's residence in Angralla village, Reasi district.

The case is based on FIR No. 115/2022 under UAPA sections 13, 17, 18, 20, 38, and 39.
