Still recovering from 23-day hunger strike, AISA's Neha Bora recalls July 20 violence

AISA president Neha Bora is still physically recovering from a 23-day hunger strike over the NEET fiasco, with her digestive system struggling to readapt to food.

Bora traveled to Bihar post-strike to support over 600 students arrested after the July 20 march, including meeting injured protesters in Siwan and the DGP, which helped secure their release.

Bora was too weak to join the July 20 march, but witnessed the aftermath from her camp where she saw injured protesters returning with wounds from the protest.

The hunger strike sought the resignation of former education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and Bora noted the youth's awakening as a positive outcome.

Her mother's attitude towards her politics has shifted positively as a result of the agitation.
