Sooryavanshi becomes youngest T20I fifty-maker
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored his maiden international fifty off 19 balls against Zimbabwe in the 1st T20I at Harare.
The 15-year-old became the youngest player to score a fifty in T20I cricket, surpassing Louis Bruce's record (Gibraltar, 16y 56d).
Sooryavanshi had earlier struggled in his debut T20I series against England, scoring 14, 13 and 15 in his first three innings.
His innings helped India chase down a target of 126 and secure victory in Harare.
He is the youngest ever to register a 50-plus score in men's international cricket, beating Sachin Tendulkar's record in Tests.
