Alia Bhatt shared Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana trailer on her Instagram Story with the caption 'DIWALI 2026' and sparkle emojis.

Ramayana: Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, is scheduled for Diwali 2026 release.

Ranbir Kapoor portrays both Lord Ram and Parshurama in the film, which also stars Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Yash as Ravana.

Alia Bhatt previously praised Ranbir's performance in Ramayana during a Zoom interaction, calling the film 'absolutely fabulous'.

The film will be the first movie Ranbir and Alia's daughter Raha Kapoor watches in a theatre.
