Are Chinese UN peacekeepers spies? Trump’s UN envoy sends out a warning

US UN Envoy Mike Waltz warned that Chinese peacekeepers use UN platforms for espionage.

Waltz accused Chinese peacekeepers of serving as eyes and ears for the Communist Party of China.

At a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing, Waltz said Chinese forces advance China's political interests while performing UN duties.

Waltz acknowledged Chinese contributions to the Security Council are often helpful.
