Waterlogged pothole claims 27-yr-old biker’s life in Mohali

Rajdeep Singh, 27, died after his motorcycle skidded on a waterlogged pothole in Phase 8B Industrial Area, Mohali.

The accident occurred around 4 pm near Guru Nanak Sweets; Singh suffered severe head injuries and was declared dead at a private hospital.

Singh was a factory worker at a paint manufacturing unit in Phase 8B and the sole breadwinner of his family.

Locals reported repeated complaints about the damaged road had gone unaddressed; no case was registered against any department.
