NTA floats tender to secure offices, exam material 24x7

NTA has floated a tender estimated at Rs 7.5 crore to hire a security firm for its headquarters at Minto Road, regional office in Okhla, and other locations.

The security contract will run for two years with possible extensions, and bids close on Aug 17.

The security agency will monitor employees, visitors, exam material, server rooms, strong rooms, and warehouses, using metal detectors, GPS tracking, biometric attendance, and digital incident reporting.

NTA shifted to quality-and-cost based selection, with technical capability weighted at 70% and financial bid at 30%.

Bidders need at least five years' security experience, Rs 10 crore average annual turnover, and prior work at high-security establishments like central govt institutions or airports.
