Hungary's PM Magyar to ask chess champion Judit Polgar to become president

Hungary's Prime Minister Peter Magyar will ask Judit Polgar to become president.

Polgar is widely regarded as the greatest female chess player of all time.

The presidency is a largely ceremonial role in Hungary.

The announcement was made by Magyar on Sunday.
