A star candidate rejected a ₹90 lakh annual job offer from a company.

The candidate declined the offer not for more money, but because he did not want to work under the prospective manager.

HR consultant Manoj Kumar lost a high-value recruitment assignment due to the rejection.

The candidate told the recruiter: “The offer is good. But I don't think I will enjoy working with the person I will be reporting to.”
