Batliboi gets Rs 52 crore solar equipment order

Batliboi Ltd's Environmental Engineering Division secured a Rs 52 crore contract from SAEL Industries for pollution control equipment.

The equipment will be supplied to SAEL's 6 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.

Batliboi will design, supply, install, and commission a turnkey PEX system for the facility within six to eight months.

The order marks Batliboi's expansion into the solar manufacturing sector, aligning with India's push for indigenous clean-energy production.

Batliboi previously executed a similar PEX system for Adani Mundra Solar Limited.
