Amitabh Bachchan has invested over ₹100 crore in Ayodhya real estate, making him the temple town's biggest celebrity investor.

In March 2026, Bachchan bought a 2.67-acre land parcel from The House of Abhinandan Lodha for ₹35 crore near HoABL's The Sarayu project.

In May 2025, he purchased a 25,000 sq ft plot adjacent to The Sarayu for nearly ₹40 crore.

In March 2025, the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Trust acquired a 54,454 sq ft plot near the Ram Mandir for a memorial to his father, poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

In 2024, Bachchan bought a 10,000 sq ft plot in HoABL's The Sarayu for ₹14.5 crore after the Ram Temple consecration.
