Around 50 Iranian Sikhs returned to India after evacuation from Tehran.

RP Singh and Jaiveer Shergill raised the families' plight in April after elderly couples were denied boarding.

The Indian embassy maintained round-the-clock contact and helped facilitate onward travel through regional evacuation routes back to India.
