Khalistani terror suspect, US national held while entering India from Nepal

Vikramjit Singh, a wanted member of the pro-Khalistan outfit Waris Punjab De, and Manveer Singh Dhillon, a US national, were arrested entering India from Nepal at the Rupaidiha border in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district.

Vikramjit Singh was wanted in connection with a 2023 case at Ajnala police station in Punjab, while Manveer Singh Dhillon allegedly entered Nepal before crossing into India without a valid visa.

Three Indian nationals—Suresh Kumar Pathak, Dilip Upadhyay, and Rahul Kumar—were arrested for allegedly facilitating the illegal entry of the two suspects.

The arrests were made during a joint operation by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Uttar Pradesh Police.
