Graeme Smith happy with Cricket World Cup's return to Africa in 2027

Former South African captain Graeme Smith welcomed the return of the 50-over Cricket World Cup to Africa for 2027.

The tournament will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

This will be the first 50-over World Cup in Africa in 24 years.

Smith cited the vibrancy and quality of players in the co-hosting nations as deserving a world event.
